## What It Does
AVI Core converts video, audio, and image files entirely on the user's machine. No files are uploaded. No internet connection is required for the desktop application.

Three interfaces:
1. Windows Explorer right-click context menu — convert, mute, extract audio, or compress files without opening a terminal.
2. Command-line interface (`avicore`) — scriptable CLI for automation, wildcards, and batch processing.
3. Web converter (`converter.html`) — 100% client-side browser-based image and audio conversion with zero server uploads.

## Supported Formats (Desktop)
- Video: MP4, MKV, MOV, AVI, WEBM, M4V, FLV, TS
- Audio: MP3, WAV, AAC, FLAC, OGG, M4A
- Image: JPG, JPEG, PNG, WEBP, BMP

## Supported Formats (Web Converter)
- Image output: WebP, PNG, JPG
- Audio output: WAV (16-bit PCM)

- Hardware-accelerated video encoding (NVIDIA NVENC, Intel QSV, AMD AMF)
- Stream copy / fast convert (`--fast`) for instant container repackaging
